Drax
Drax is a humanoid alien and one of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He is introduced in the W-Series What-If episode "What If... a Guardian Fell from the Sky?".
Background
Drax takes language at face value, without exception. Rocket warns the pack that if you tell Drax something went over your head, he will duck.
Personality
Drax offers opinions nobody asked for and classifies them as gifts, which cannot then be declined or returned. Nothing he says is meant unkindly, and nothing he says can be taken back.

What If
The What-If episodes are alternate timelines and do not affect the main continuity.
In "What If... a Guardian Fell from the Sky?", Drax opens the episode by siding with Rocket against Quill's music and then refusing to withdraw the endorsement on the grounds that a gift, once given, is given. When the rift hits he throws both arms against a bulkhead, then reaches across twenty feet of opening vacuum toward a crewmate already beyond it.
He comes down the Benatar's ramp two weeks later behind Quill, and the only account anyone gives of what the crew has been like without its engineer is that Drax flooded the cargo hold. Drax's contribution to that account is that the recycler was never meant to be approached from the angle he approached it from. On the flight out he is eating something too loudly, and the ship is noisy again.
Key Relationships
Rocket
Drax agrees with Rocket on principle and at volume, which Rocket has never asked for and has never quite managed to stop.
