Season 3
In S03E05 "Claw and Present Danger", Sergeant Shellguard appears during the coordinated prison breach orchestrated by Leodore Lionheart. When controlled demolitions tear through the facility and inmates flood out of their cells, the prison descends into chaos.
At the C-Wing junction, Shellguard attempts to organize a retreat toward the administrative core — the one part of the facility the conspirators left unmined. With six officers left of C-Wing's staff, he shouts orders over the alarms and directs them to fall back.
A cougar tackles him from behind and the two go down. The other officers try to help, and the line breaks. Neither Shellguard's fate nor his unit's is established. His last stand runs immediately against Warden Knox Ironsnout, who has his office door locked from the inside and tells his aide that the inmates and the officers are on their own.
