Gordon is an opossum and a friend of Pawbert from their time together at ZCF in We Can Fix Pawbert. They worked side by side in the prison kitchen during Pawbert's second year of incarceration, and Gordon helped make that difficult period more bearable.

During Pawbert's second year at ZCF, the two worked kitchen shifts together, and the friendship that formed over that routine is the only thing either of them says about how they know each other. He is out by Season 5, working at a bakery; the pastries he brings to Pawbert's home come from the shop.

Gordon appears in S05E09 "Departure" when he attends a gathering at Pawthorne Mansion that Pawbert had arranged three weeks earlier and then forgotten. He arrives after the house has already filled, carrying a bakery box of the cherry pastries he knows Pawbert likes.
His greeting is simple but weighted: it is good to see Pawbert outside — a word that carries particular significance between two mammals who met inside prison walls. Pawbert takes the box carefully, understanding what it is.
Gordon looks over the mansion and tells Pawbert he has done well, then spends the evening in a quiet corner while Pawbert checks in on him between conversations.
He is the last guest to leave, or close to it. At the door he tells Pawbert that the kitchen shifts at ZCF were bearable because of him; when Pawbert answers that Gordon helped him survive his second year and that it counts for something, Gordon says it counts for everything, maybe. He shakes Pawbert's paw and asks him to stay safe, whatever this is.
