Wendell
Wendell is a badger and a colleague of Pawbert's at ZRS in We Can Fix Pawbert. Introduced in "Departure", he works alongside Pawbert and Sorrel, and has been carrying half of Pawbert's caseload for as long as the case has kept Pawbert away from the office.
Background
Wendell works at Zootopia Reentry Services, helping formerly incarcerated mammals navigate the return to life outside. He does the job well without fanfare, and the series gives him no history before ZRS.

Season 5
Wendell first appears during the gathering at Pawthorne Mansion in "Departure", an evening Pawbert had arranged three weeks earlier and then forgotten about entirely. He holds down the kitchen counter with Sorrel while the party moves around them, the ZRS contingent among a house full of Pawbert's friends.
In "Always", Wendell arrives at the double wedding with Sorrel, the two of them coming in behind Selma and Tara with the measured pride of colleagues watching one of their own cross a threshold. Sorrel recalls that on his first day at ZRS Pawbert could not look clients in the eye. Wendell's answer is the only line he speaks on screen — "And now?" — and Sorrel, watching the crowd, tells him that Pawbert now runs intake better than he does.
