Wesley Evers
Wesley Evers is a wolverine and an Assistant District Attorney in We Can Fix Pawbert. He appears at Pawbert Lynxley's executive clemency hearing to put the District Attorney's position on the record.
Background
Evers works for the office that prosecuted Pawbert Lynxley, and he carries himself as a courtroom mammal — compact, well-dressed, his posture straight and his face giving nothing away. A placard on his lapel identifies him by name and title.

Season 2
Evers appears in "The Ask", where Nikki Bramble calls him before Mayor Winddancer in Hearing Chamber Three at City Hall. What he delivers is a formal statement rather than testimony, flat and final, and he tells the Mayor that his office has reviewed the petition and the supporting documentation.
Citing Pawbert's cooperation in the RICO prosecution — cooperation that produced convictions the office could not otherwise have won — and his conduct during the recent attack on the city, Evers states that the District Attorney does not oppose the commutation request. He taps his notes once against the podium and adds that the People's position is that Pawbert has demonstrated genuine rehabilitation and that granting the petition would serve the interests of justice. Then he nods to the Mayor and steps back.
The statement is short and procedural, but it leaves the office that once sought Pawbert's maximum sentence arguing for his release, and a low murmur moves through the gallery as he steps back.
