Gasket
Gasket is a mongoose and the armorer/equipment specialist for Oxbow's professional military hit squad in We Can Fix Pawbert. He distributes specialized gear to the squad and serves as the rear guard during the assault on 86 Pack Street. He is the last operative standing and the one who shoots Luther in the abdomen before Luther kills him in "Breach".

Background
Gasket served as the equipment specialist for the six-mammal hit squad activated by the Lynxley Network to eliminate Pawbert. His role was to supply and maintain the squad's specialized gear, which included venom injectors, smart-lock spoofers, flash grenades, suppressed pistols, and ceramic knives.

Season 1
"Breach"
In a Marshlands warehouse the squad has borrowed for the night, Gasket lays the steel cases open on a trestle table and sets each piece of equipment down in front of the operative it belongs to, with a care nobody else in the room brings to anything. He is also the only member of the team who questions the target package: intel says the wolf guarding the witness is not standard ZPD, and Gasket wants to know what that means for the job. Oxbow tells him it means the wolf dies too.
During the breach at 86 Pack Street, Gasket serves as the rear guard and waits outside while the others go in. As the firefight runs its course and the other five are killed one after another, he walks in through the back door to finish a job he was never expected to complete himself.
Gasket shoots Luther in the abdomen, a wound that shapes his condition through the whole of his recovery. Luther kills him with a shard of the shattered mahogany bookshelf driven up under the jaw, then turns the mongoose's own pistol around and fires twice into his chest, ending the assault.
Death
Gasket dies on the living room floor at 86 Pack Street, the sixth and last of the squad. His final words disclaim any personal stake in the killing he came to carry out.

Gasket's shot to Luther's abdomen is one of the most consequential injuries Luther takes, and it governs how much he can do for the length of his recovery. Their exchange is the final confrontation of the safehouse breach.
