"Second Chances"
Slink is the target of a joint operation between Precinct 1 and Precinct 7. During the raid on his warehouse, Pawbert — observing from a surveillance van — spots a secondary escape vehicle that the tactical teams have not identified. Pawbert's alert enables the interception, preventing Slink's escape.
Upon arrest, Slink immediately offers up his indexed manifests — five years of routes and drops — bargaining only for documented protection ("paper first," with a case number on it) before handing everything over. Harper and Lopez run the interview in his own warehouse office and press him for names, routes and accounts while he holds out for paper. His instant capitulation stands in contrast to more defiant network members like Hackjaw.
The index is not the only thing he loses. Pawbert watches the interview through the glass partition and reads the shelving behind Slink instead of Slink himself: colored tags running along the edge of every crate, blue for freight that appears on no manifest, red for cargo that cannot wait. He taps the glass, catches Lopez's eye, and points at the blue-tagged row, and Lopez logs it into evidence and folds those crates into her inventory. Slink is still negotiating terms for his index while the shipments he never intended to mention are being written into the record behind him.

Pawbert's sharp observation from the surveillance van directly prevents Slink's escape, and his read of the crate tags through the office glass adds shipments to the evidence log that Slink never offered. Slink is also the first network figure Pawbert watches from the other side of the glass, cuffed to a chair and bargaining the way Pawbert once bargained.
