Torres is a wolverine and the fire captain of Station 113. He commands the first ZFD crew to respond to the Tundratown-Sahara Square weather wall attack in S02E16 "The Wall".

Torres and Station 113 arrive within minutes of the weather wall explosion. Taking one look at the tunnel, Torres immediately recognizes the dual nature of the crisis: structural collapse compounded by climate bleed between districts.

He directs his crew to fan out---Okafor working the left side, Walsh hauling equipment, Dapple coordinating with incoming ambulances. When he hears crying from beneath a collapsed slab---possibly a kit the same age as his grandson---Torres attempts to crawl under the debris to reach them. The wall's temperature regulation systems are failing, creating sudden, brutal heat spikes. Walsh has to physically drag Torres back when the heat becomes lethal.

When Okafor is shot by armed attackers who emerge from the far end of the tunnel, Torres drags the wounded leopard backward, his paws slicking with blood through his gloves. He manages to get Okafor to safety, and the young firefighter survives with a serious chest wound.

After ZSI neutralizes the armed unit and engineers stabilize the wall section, Torres returns to the collapsed area and successfully rescues the trapped kit---a young mammal with a broken arm who survives because of his persistence.
