In Zootopia

McHorn appears in the original Zootopia film as one of the officers at Precinct 1. He is initially dismissive of Judy Hopps, telling her to "wait for the real cops" when she pursues Duke Weaselton into Little Rodentia. He is later assigned to search for the missing mammals in Sahara Square with Officers Rhinowitz and Wolford. McHorn participates in the events at Rainforest District and the arrest of Assistant Mayor Bellwether at the Natural History Museum.

Personality

In the original film, McHorn shows disinterest in those he considers his lessers, dismissing Judy as a new officer. His series appearance is brief but professional---directing survivors and coordinating with other officers during the crisis response.

When Judy Hopps emerges from the building searching desperately for Nick Wilde, McHorn recognizes her and expresses relief that she survived. He directs her to try the west staging area, where some survivors came out, helping her navigate the chaos of the USAR response.
