Season 1: Station 118 (S01E10)

Athena arrives at the Canyonlands office fire after the building has been cleared, crossing from the far side of the street at a pace the responders read as ZPD before she reaches them. She asks Bobby, her husband, whether the two officers on the sidewalk are Hopps and Wilde, then introduces herself to Judy by rank, a sergeant on special assignments, with a paw extended rather than a wave. Her look at Pawbert carries nothing cruel in it; she finds him steadier than the headlines had led her to expect, and smaller. Told that Nick and Luther went into a burning building and came out with an armful of scorched ledgers on top of the witness, she raises an eyebrow and lets that do the commenting.

The dinner invitation is Bobby's to give, but it follows a glance between the two of them in which a half-inch dip of her chin tells him to go ahead and ask. She turns up at the firehouse out of uniform, in a dark sweater over slacks, her rank simply translated into the register a firehouse runs on in the evening. Late in the meal she stands at the head of the table with her glass and draws the distinction the episode leaves with Pawbert: what separates a survivor from a victim is what they do next. Back at the safehouse afterward, Luther credits the whole evening to her design.

Season 2: Collateral (S02E07)

Athena runs the ZPD side of the response to the substation explosion, working from the command post and directing officers who angle out of her path before she has looked at them. She recognizes the pack's plates on the approach and calls it in before anyone is out of the car. Her attention settles on Pawbert, whom she last saw at the firehouse a year earlier as a jumpy, half-broken kid; he reads as steadier now, and present. Told he is there as the infrastructure consultant, she sends him to Bobby at the east wing where the damage is worst, with instructions to make himself useful, and clears Luther past the perimeter on his badge with a warning to stay out of her officers' way.

Season 5: Inferno (S05E16)

Athena's most significant crossover appearance comes during the Rainforest District fire. She is the one who tells Nick that Bobby died six months earlier in a lab containment breach, giving the single dose of antidote to Chimney because Maddie was pregnant. Later, at the staging area, she is the one who reaches Luther once Pawbert has him — a paw on his arm, an instruction to look at her, and the observation that Bobby wore the same look every time she went out on a call. She does not stop the breakdown; it runs its course, and the 118 crew forms a loose circle around the two of them while it does. Afterward she finds Judy at the edge of the staging area and tells her what it costs to love someone who walks into danger, having done exactly that from both sides: Bobby ran into fires for a living, she is a cop, and both of them knew any day could be the last.

Season 5: Final Position (S05E21)

Athena reinforces the operation with additional ZPD support units, officers pulled in from precincts citywide — every one the department could free up from essential duty. She joins the pack and the broader law enforcement coalition at the assault staging area, bound by shared history: the firehouse dinners, the joint operations, the shared losses. During the assault on The Root, Athena anchors the western push, her grizzly bear strength putting down operatives who try to flank the advance.

Season 5: Always (S05E24)

Athena attends the double wedding in elegant black, Bobby's absence hanging around her like a veil. She pauses at the ceremony arch, caught for a second by the memory of another wedding, and says it to herself: "Bobby would have loved this." Eddie touches her arm, and she moves forward. During the reception, she shares a quiet exchange with Reacher — two mammals who carry loss — accepting his condolences for Captain Nash with steady composure.

W-Series

In "The Call" the protected-positions order sends her to the nearest designated fallback in Station 118's zone, the station's bunker, where she sits with the crew and takes each burst of ZPD radio without reacting. She gets as far as May and Harry's names on her phone and stops, because she knows what a call like that does to the mammal who receives it. After the stand-down she calls Harry from beside her cruiser and argues with him about a folding table for Sunday.
