Dr. Miranda Bailey
Dr. Miranda Bailey is a honey badger and a trauma surgeon at Zootopia General Hospital in We Can Fix Pawbert. Introduced in "Incoming", she is the surgeon who treats Luther after a building collapse during a ZSI operation.

Background
Dr. Bailey treats cases in the secure wing of Zootopia General Hospital, the section reserved for ZSI operatives, protected witnesses, and mammals whose medical records do not appear in the standard system. She also works the hospital's ordinary emergency intake, which is where Luther's second admission reaches her.

Bailey embodies the fierce, no-nonsense demeanor that honey badgers are known for. She radiates an authority that makes residents scatter and patients comply. Season 4
Dr. Bailey first appears in S04E16 "Incoming" when Luther is brought to Zootopia General Hospital after being injured during a ZSI operation. A building collapse left him with three broken ribs, extensive bruising, lacerations, and a Grade 2 concussion.
Luther has already tried to discharge himself twice by the time Pawbert arrives, and Bailey has already told him the next attempt will involve sedation. She has the measure of her patient: "He's been difficult." It is Reacher, who has known Luther for years, who supplies the translation: "He's been Luther."
Attempt number three comes minutes later, through a closed door, and she calls it out from the corridor. She argues the case — three broken ribs, monitoring required — and loses, and when Nick tells her to just hand over the against-medical-advice papers because Luther is not going to stay, she produces them from her clipboard and lets him sign. Before she goes she gives Pawbert the discharge instructions instead: check his breathing every four hours, and bring him straight back for fever, shortness of breath, or blood in a cough. Two weeks of bed rest, minimum. She says she will believe it when she sees it.
Season 5
In S05E22 "Complacency", Dr. Bailey plants herself in the corridor ahead of Luther's gurney as Station 118 wheels him in from the extraction at The Root. His injuries are far worse this time: a gunshot wound clean through the thigh, an inch off the femoral artery; four broken ribs rather than the three anyone had counted; contusions to the trachea from strangulation; and internal bleeding from blunt force trauma to the abdomen, which she repairs surgically. He codes twice on the table.
She calls for four units of blood and takes him into surgery, and the operation runs until dawn. When she comes back out to the pack her scrubs are stained and her cap is pulled back, and she crosses the corridor slowly, placing each step with the same care she places the words: he is stable, and he is going to make it.
Later, when Luther predictably resumes his attempts to escape the hospital, Bailey remains unmoved. She notes that she has his file — a file she has been adding to for years — and reminds him that if he does not stop trying to escape, she will sedate him. Her dry observation that she has sedated him before, and is very good at it, speaks to her long familiarity with this particular patient.
