Michael Hitchcock is a sea lion and a detective at Precinct 99 in We Can Fix Pawbert. In the main series he appears once, silently, in the background of "The Network".

Background

Hitchcock is one of the Precinct 99 detectives. He sweats perpetually, and the only time the main series puts him on the page he is off duty at the bar with Scully.

Series History

Season 5

Hitchcock is at the bar in Shaw's Bar in "The Network", behind the high-top where Jake takes Nick's call. He never speaks. He and Scully carry on a wordless argument over a plate of nachos, and by the time Jake has agreed to run a heist against a live target for real they have moved on to arm-wrestling for the last loaded chip. The conversation that pulls Precinct 99 into the Icener investigation happens entirely over their heads.

W-Series

In "Ridealong", Hitchcock and Scully walk into Millstone's bakery as customers after the owner has detained a cinnamon-roll thief, announce themselves as detectives, and eat the recovered rolls while everyone waits. Hitchcock also knocks the window tray to the floor leaning on the display case, which Scully volunteers to the room. Powdered sugar in his whiskers and a mop in his flippers, he argues that nobody called the rolls evidence until most of them were eaten, and Judy tells him the procedure is not eating the evidence. She sends both detectives to their cruiser while her fifth-grade ridealong observer, Alex Peppervine, learns that their bosses will get a copy of the report.

Trivia
