Kitty Lynxley
Kitty Lynxley is a Canada lynx and the middle child and only daughter of Milton Lynxley. She served as the family's social leverage—maintaining the Lynxley public image and wielding social influence. Convicted alongside the family, she escaped during the Season 3 prison breach.
Background
Zootopia 2
At the Zootennial Gala, Kitty looks through Pawbert as if he doesn't exist—one of the moments of casual cruelty that Judy Hopps personally witnesses. Kitty lies to Captain Hoggbottom, framing Judy for the attack on Chief Bogo after Gary accidentally bites him.
After the family's arrest, Kitty awaits trial alongside Milton and Cattrick.
Series History
Season 1
S01E21-23 "Counsel" / "Moot" / "The Trial"
Kitty appears on screen as a defendant during the Lynxley RICO trial. In S01E23 "The Trial", she is convicted on all RICO charges and sentenced to life without parole alongside Milton and Cattrick.
Season 3
S03E05 "Claw and Present Danger"
During the Lionheart-orchestrated prison breach, Kitty escapes from maximum security alongside Cattrick. They leave Milton behind—the patriarch too old and slow to keep up.
When they encounter Luther and Pawbert at the breach point, Kitty confirms their intention: "Father's not coming with us." They're heading "somewhere the name Lynxley means nothing."
Kitty's message to Milton through Pawbert encapsulates her rejection of the family's cruelty: "Tell him we're done being his. Tell him we choose ourselves now."
Both Kitty and Cattrick exit the main series. They chose freedom over the Lynxley name.
Post-Credits Scene: Pawlawan (S05E51)
Four years after the prison breach, the pack encounters Kitty and Cattrick on the island nation of Pawlawan during their honeymoon. Kitty now goes by "Kay" and lives in a modest hillside house with Cattrick ("Patrick"). The gold jewelry is gone, her fur natural and unstyled, wearing a sundress that would have horrified Milton. She makes beaded crafts and sells them at the local market.
At the cliffside bar, Kitty reveals that Milton used his children as physical shields when Winddancer came for him at the manor during the Zootopia 2 climax—a detail never included in the trial transcripts. She learned what Milton was capable of and what he truly thought of them. When asked about Milton's death during the convoy ambush, Kitty's assessment is hard and clear: he died the way he lived, using everyone around him, even at the end.
At the farewell, Kitty does something the Lynxley family never did—she hugs Pawbert. Brief, awkward, the first physical affection between siblings in a family that did not do contact. She tells him to be happy, because someone should be. She asks Luther to take care of Pawbert. Luther answers: "Always."
Personality
Kitty initially presents as loyal to the Lynxley name above all else. Unlike Cattrick, who shows moments of complexity earlier in the series, Kitty remains committed to the family's social hierarchy through the trial. Her transformation becomes apparent only in the prison breach, when she rejects Milton entirely, and is fully realized in the Pawlawan post-credits scene, where she has shed the Lynxley identity completely.
