Hoggbottom leads the pursuit of Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps during their fugitive arc, following Milton's orders relayed through Mayor Winddancer. She is ordered to shoot Judy with a lethal dart but hesitates and fires it off accidentally. In the film's climax at Reptile Ravine, Hoggbottom knocks out Pawbert with a frying pan—mirroring how Nick knocked out Gary De'Snake earlier in the film.

Series History

Season 5

In "Climate Control", Hoggbottom's full Razorbacks squad participates in the relay warehouse raid. In "The Message", she leads the Razorbacks as heavy support for Shaw's Bravo team during the Frostbite Processing plant assault. Her squad breaches the loading docks, and later charges to finish the transmission room corridor when Alpha team is pinned—Truffler takes a graze wound but keeps fighting.

When Chief Bogo is seriously injured in the Precinct 1 bombing ("Strike"), Hoggbottom serves as acting commander while Bogo is hospitalized. She manages ZPD operations during the most intense crisis in the city's history. In "Cost of Entry", she meets Precinct 7 at the damaged Precinct 1 entrance, issues ZSI credentials to Lieutenant Grey, and directs them to ZSI headquarters for the joint operation—handling the inter-agency coordination with her characteristic no-nonsense efficiency.

In "Complacency", when Chief Bogo returns to the bullpen after his hospitalization, Hoggbottom formally returns command. She extends her hoof with the words "Command is yours" and expresses her relief that he survived. The exchange between them carries the weight of two mammals who have been through war together, even if their battles were fought in different places.

Personality

Hoggbottom is a by-the-book officer who demonstrated moral hesitation when ordered to use lethal force against Judy in the film. She has since proven herself a capable leader, earning the trust required to act as ZPD's commanding officer during the Icener crisis.
