Captain Hoggbottom
Captain Hoggbottom is a female boar who serves as a ZPD Captain and commander of the Razorbacks (SWAT unit). She first appears in Zootopia 2 and takes on expanded roles throughout the series.

Zootopia 2
Hoggbottom leads the pursuit of Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps during their fugitive arc, following Milton's orders relayed through Mayor Winddancer. She is ordered to shoot Judy with a lethal dart but hesitates and fires it off accidentally. In the film's climax at Reptile Ravine, Hoggbottom knocks out Pawbert with a frying pan — mirroring how Nick knocked out Gary De'Snake earlier in the film.
Series History
Season 1
Hoggbottom commands the arrest at Agnes De'Snake's house in Reptile Ravine ("The Weakest Lynx"). When Pawbert comes around on the stone floor, cuffed and muzzled, she is the officer standing over him with the frying pan still in her trotter, and her officers are working the house around her, photographing the patent and the syringe as evidence.
She leads the tactical entry on the Lynxley Holdings accountant's office in "The Blacklist", calling orders over the noise while ZPD tactical clears the floor in seconds. The raid takes the family accountant, Samuel Fureed, mid-shred and cuffs him against his own desk, but Hackjaw is already out the window and down the fire escape.
Season 3
Hoggbottom brings the Razorbacks to the City Hall plaza during the Lionheart crisis ("A Wanted Mammal"), arriving with Truffler and spreading through the manufactured crowd in tactical gear with the manifest of paid agitators in hoof. Her squad works the plaza name by name alongside Higgins and Fangmeyer. Her own arrest is a pair of meerkats working in tandem: she splits them from each other and takes one while Truffler takes the other, so that neither can coordinate a story, and both crack within minutes of being processed separately.
Season 4
In "Operational Surprise", Hoggbottom attends mandatory compliance training at Precinct 1 alongside other officers, including her fellow Razorbacks member Officer Truffler.
Season 5
In "Fieldwork", she commands the Razorbacks during breach operations at the Hyenahurst staging area. When Luther splits the force for the Canal District later that night, she puts her shoulder through the fishery door and leads the ground-floor clearance from the front, and her team takes two more operatives into custody there. In "Climate Control", Hoggbottom's full Razorbacks squad participates in the relay warehouse raid. In "The Message", she leads the Razorbacks as heavy support for Shaw's Bravo team during the Frostbite Processing plant assault. Her squad breaches the loading docks, and later charges to finish the transmission room corridor when Alpha team is pinned — Truffler takes a graze wound but keeps fighting.
When Chief Bogo is seriously injured in the Precinct 1 bombing ("Strike"), Hoggbottom takes acting command of Precinct 1 while Bogo is hospitalized, and moves the displaced precinct to a temporary command post at Precinct 3. She runs it from borrowed desks, keeping every officer who can still work on the case. In "Cost of Entry", she meets Precinct 7 at the damaged Precinct 1 entrance, issues ZSI credentials to Lieutenant Grey, and directs them to ZSI headquarters for the joint operation — handling the inter-agency coordination with her characteristic no-nonsense efficiency.
By "The Godfather" she is addressed as Acting Chief, running the department from Bogo's chair. She delivers a captured wolverine scout to the ZSI command post at Mr. Big's mansion, hands Costa the tablet of detailed district maps taken off him, warns that whatever is being planned is imminent, and reports her people on high alert across all precincts.
In "Complacency", when Chief Bogo returns to the bullpen after his hospitalization, Hoggbottom hands the precinct back to him. She extends her hoof, formally returns command, and tells him more quietly that she is glad he survived. What passes between them is the mutual recognition of two veterans who fought the same war from different places.
Personality
Hoggbottom is a by-the-book officer who demonstrated moral hesitation when ordered to use lethal force against Judy in the film. She has since proven herself a capable leader, earning the trust required to act as ZPD's commanding officer during the Icener crisis.
