Officer Kett

Season 1

Kett first appears in "Last Morning" as Pawbert's intake escort when he arrives at Zootopia Correctional Facility to begin his sentence.

Season 2

In "Rook", Kett is present during the aftermath of the yard attack, directing Pawbert to medical with quiet authority. In "Protective Custody", he arrives after the shower block assault, takes in the scene of five downed inmates, and helps coordinate the response. He is also present when Warden Hartwell confronts Agent Ross about the security failures.

During the "Extraction" siege, Kett stumbles out of a side corridor bleeding from a head wound but still armed and fighting. He holds Junction C3-A to cover Luther and Pawbert's retreat, telling Luther: "You ARE the backup, Rook. Go." He survives the siege.

In "Safehouse", Kett handles the property handoff when Nick Wilde retrieves Pawbert's belongings from ZCF. He shares his grief over Hartwell's death and remarks that Pawbert never gave up hope.

Kett returns in "Clean Slate" to escort Pawbert to Cell 3C-17 upon his voluntary return. He invokes Hartwell's memory and welcomes Pawbert back with quiet warmth.

Season 3

Kett continues as a recurring ally throughout the Lionheart crisis arc.

In "Licence to Claw", Pawbert approaches Kett to report suspicious activity during kitchen duty — papers exchanged between an inmate (weasel) and a vendor (beaver). Kett makes a note and promises to pass it up: "I'll pass it up."

In "Fur Your Eyes Only", Kett informs Pawbert that the new warden dismissed his report as "probably just contraband." He's frustrated: "For what it's worth — I believe you saw something. I just can't make them listen."

In "Tripwire", Kett visits Warden Ironsnout's office to advocate for Pawbert, raising concerns about the paper exchange, his protective custody status, and the danger of being in gen pop among the Lynxley family's enemies. Ironsnout dismisses everything, and Kett leaves realizing the warden won't help.

In "Claw and Present Danger", during the prison breach chaos, Kett tackles and recaptures Milton Lynxley at the maximum security breach point. He recognizes Luther as undercover and orders his guards: "Let them through. That wolf is undercover. They're with us." This quick recognition — trusting Luther's ZSI identity despite the chaos — allows Luther and Pawbert to continue pursuing Leodore Lionheart.

In "A Wanted Mammal", Kett processes Pawbert's return to ZCF after he voluntarily surrenders rather than fleeing during the breach. His observation that Pawbert could have run — and chose not to — carries quiet respect.

Season 4

In "Release", Kett escorts Pawbert during his release from ZCF. As they walk through the corridors for the last time, Kett remembers Warden Hartwell and what the warden believed about second chances. At the checkpoint, their farewell exchange marks the end of a long professional relationship. This is Kett's final appearance in the series.
