"Transfer" is the third episode of Season 4 of We Can Fix Pawbert. It establishes the pack's permanent living arrangement at Pawthorne Mansion and introduces the phrase "We're ours" as the pack's identity.

Synopsis

Luther requests a transfer to ZPD Precinct 1 and proposes that Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps move into the mansion. They agree and relocate. Luther presents all four pack members with house keys and reveals a secure firearms storage room to satisfy Pawbert's PRS weapons prohibition. Murray Burrows conducts a surprise home visit and approves the residence.

Plot

Luther meets with Director Ramshorn at ZSI headquarters to request a transfer of his liaison office to ZPD Precinct 1. Ramshorn observes Luther is "going domestic" and approves the request, adding: "Take care of him. And let him take care of you." Back at the mansion, Luther proposes that Nick and Judy move in permanently. Pawbert agrees eagerly---the house feels like a museum with just two mammals.

Nick and Judy pack hastily from their small third-floor Savanna Central apartment. Judy insists it's "trialing cohabitation"; Nick calls it moving in. At the mansion, Luther presents four freshly cut house keys: "Not a loan. Not a backup. Yours." Pawbert's key is the first to a home since his tent. Luther then reveals a secure firearms storage room he built in the East Wing---digital lock, individual safes, separate ammunition---ensuring PRS compliance while three law enforcement officers live with a felon.

Murray Burrows arrives for a surprise home visit and methodically inspects the space. Nick delivers a passionate defense of the arrangement, arguing the security "EXCEEDS the rules." Luther adds quietly: "The only thing irregular here is that people care about him." Burrows approves: "Residence approved. Pending continued compliance."

Pawbert spirals afterward, believing he has turned Luther's home into a checkpoint. Luther corrects him: "You didn't make it a checkpoint. You made it a home." A new phrase emerges---"We're ours." Not yours, not mine. Chosen. In the tag, the pack shares their first dinner at the big table, Nick predictably burns something, and four sets of keys hang on hooks by the front door.
