Season 5: The Icener Crisis

Shaw is introduced at the CCC in "Pattern Recognition", where she presents the analysis connecting phantom maintenance workers to a six-year infiltration campaign. She identifies at least six confirmed phantom workers mapping Zootopia's weather wall systems and delivers the key assessment: they are already inside. Throughout the crisis, Shaw serves as a frontline ZSI field agent. During "Soft Target", Shaw traces phantom credentials to Sovfrost Shipping and co-leads the warehouse raid with Luther, helping subdue Roskova during the assault. She interrogates Volkov alongside Luther in "Traceback", pressing him on the Icener connection, and later joins Luther in pursuing Roskova through a Tundratown market district before she escapes. Shaw's most significant intelligence breakthrough comes during "Fieldwork", when she discovers the Hyenahurst staging area during an overnight CCC shift by analyzing power consumption and vehicle traffic patterns. She presents the finding to Costa and secures the warehouse and evidence after Luther splits the team. In "The Network", she identifies MV Frost Crown from intelligence databases as an ice-class cargo vessel registered to Frostflot Maritime and warns that Roskova's surveillance makes an open raid on the Otterdam facility impossible.

Shaw arrives late to the CCC during "Misdirection" due to gridlocked streets and takes over the eastern district coordination desk, identifying the attack pattern as centralized and suggesting tracing the control signals. During "Climate Control", she coordinates station security deployments alongside Luther, identifying that Icener's probing attacks are keeping ZSI reactive and unable to go on offense. The Frostbite Processing plant assault in "The Message" puts her in direct combat — she leads Bravo team through the loading docks with Nick, Judy, and the Razorbacks, takes down the first operative with two shots, and later converges on the transmission room corridor to relieve the pinned Alpha team, catching three defenders from behind.

After the Precinct 1 bombing in "Strike", Shaw traces the fake delivery requisition back to the same Sovfrost Shipping shell company structure, confirming the paperwork was filed three days before the Frostbite raid and establishing it as a pre-planned contingency. She contacts the ZSI-BAU for a psychological profile of Icener. During "Profile", she presents the Lynxley Holdings discovery to the CCC — Milton's company built Vladifrostok's climate system with exploitative maintenance contracts — and works with Prentiss to identify Roskova as Icener's operations commander. She leads the Alpha team raid on the Savanna Central maintenance hub during "Cost of Entry", identifies evidence of recent occupation, and later extracts the Tundratown attack revelation from Viktor Grodnik during interrogation at ZSI.

Shaw oversees the arrest of two Icener operatives attempting to visit Milton at ZCF during "Inferno" and identifies the Rainforest fire and ZCF visit as a coordinated message from Icener. The ZSI HQ assault in "All Paws" puts her in the worst of the fighting. She uses command override codes to unlock the conference room door during the security lockdown and fights alongside Luther and Bauer in the lobby. After the detonation, she sustains a gash above her eye. When Luther fixates on the blocked CCC stairwell — desperate to reach Pawbert — Shaw grabs his arm and forces him toward the exit. They redirect to the loading dock with Bauer but are trapped in a debris pocket before USAR extraction.

At Mr. Big's mansion during "The Godfather", Shaw interrogates the captured wolverine using professional techniques but the prisoner holds out, triggering Mr. Big's intervention. She is assigned to the south sector with Nick and Judy for the Tundratown defense. During "Tundratown Requiem", Shaw coordinates the south sector defense and relays Nick's observation that the attackers are not truly committing. After Mr. Big redirects his polar bears, the sector collapses and Shaw orders the fighting retreat to the mansion.

Shaw is assigned to protective detail for Luther and Pawbert at Pawthorne Mansion during "Without Options". During her perimeter check, she discovers Icener's operatives already in position and takes three silenced rounds — chest, gut, shoulder. Dying against the side of the house, she raises her weapon and fires every remaining round into the air as unsuppressed warning shots — the only thing she can give them. The gunfire reaches Luther and Pawbert at the front door, giving them seconds to reach the gun room. Shaw dies with her slide locked back and her magazine empty.
