Season 1: Quietus and I Choose to Stay (S01E17-18)

Prentiss brings the ZSI-BAU to Precinct 1 after three cooperating witnesses in the Lynxley case die by apparent suicide, each leaving a nearly identical note. She runs the war-room briefing, states outright that the pattern is not coincidence, and divides the work: Judy onto the therapist records recovered in the asset seizure, Nick paired with Morgan to interview the guards who processed the witnesses, and Garcia onto anyone paid for access to vulnerable mammals. When the profile puts Pawbert next on the list, she argues Bogo into letting the unit come to the safehouse rather than move the witness, and accepts his condition that Fuzzby be in the room.

The plan to draw Mawl out is hers to authorize: a controlled channel, a number seeded where he is known to be watching, so the call arrives somewhere the BAU is already listening. Asking Pawbert to hold that line is the part she will not treat as settled. She opens the conversation at Site Two by telling him he is allowed to refuse, and says it again when he asks what happens if he does.

In "I Choose to Stay" Prentiss runs the operation over the comm from headquarters, staying silent through most of the call so the room belongs to Pawbert. When Garcia's trace locks on a Meadowlands address, she dispatches Morgan, Nick, and Judy by name and gives the execute order at the door. She arrives at Site Two afterward to tell Pawbert she has watched trained agents fold under less than what Mawl ran at him that night.

Season 2: The Cartographer (S02E11)

Prentiss brings the BAU back to Zootopia a year on, for a serial-killer case whose bodies are being dumped on old Lynxley operational sites. She runs the war-room briefing at ZPD Headquarters, names the three victims, and turns to Pawbert for who would have known sites that old. She commands the raid on Orin Draftwell's workshop from the mobile command unit, holding every exit until she gives the execute count. Afterward, once Garcia has been through the files, Prentiss tells Agent Ross what the profile had already suggested: this is a separate operation, not connected to the Clawrence investigation.

Season 5: Profile and Final Position (S05E14, S05E21)

During the Icener crisis, Prentiss commands the BAU's profiling operation from the whiteboard in the BAU briefing room, mapping the connection web before joining the CCC briefing. She reads the targeting as revenge rather than ideology, since every attack has struck infrastructure or law enforcement rather than the economy, and calls the panic a byproduct rather than the goal. After the failed negotiation, Prentiss works with Shaw to analyze Icener's operational structure, identifying Kira Roskova as his operations commander. Her leadership ensures the BAU's psychological findings are translated into actionable operational guidance for ZSI.

In "Final Position", Prentiss walks the BAU into Mr. Big's mansion after the destruction of ZSI headquarters and asks Costa what he needs. She then rides in with the field element assigned to the western approach at Reptile Ravine, fighting through the perimeter alongside ZPD and Precinct 7 units, covering JJ's flank after JJ takes a round to the arm and dressing the wound in the field when JJ refuses to fall back.

W-Series

In "SSA", Prentiss walks into the Precinct 1 lobby without an appointment and asks Clawhauser for SSA Pawthorne, which is how Nick and Judy learn that their pack-mate holds the same rank she does. She has come as Costa's conduit, carrying his offer of permanent command over Triple-C to the agent who wrote the doctrine it runs on, and she makes the case flat and without flattery. Luther refuses. Prentiss puts the brief down and speaks for herself, naming what her own Unit Chief chair has cost her: no kitchen with anyone in it when she gets home, and a mother she calls when the calendar tells her to. Then she asks a question Costa did not authorize: is the liaison job a choice Luther keeps making, or a place he has learned to live so he never has to choose. His answer satisfies her, and she reads the refusal back to him as identity protection rather than an aversion to rank.

In "Nighthowler", Prentiss brings the BAU into Costa's CCC briefing on the Sandy Ridge cell, standing at the platform beside him with her bag still on her shoulder. She hands the room to Reid and Rossi rather than presenting anything herself, then closes by naming the floors every operational decision has to clear: high conviction in the cell, a technical window under twenty-four hours, and a signature borrowed from Bellwether. Her unit is Costa's for the duration of the operation.
